A rechargeable battery is an energy carrier that loses its storage capacity over time. By a so-called calibration, the “health” of the battery can be refreshed in order to provide short-term solutions. To calibrate the battery, you can find some apps in the Google Play Store.
Connect your Cyrus device and the PC with an original Cyrus Micro-USB or Cyrus USB-C cable. Plug one connector into the Cyrus Phone and the other connector into the USB port of your PC. If the Cyrus Phone is not detected automatically, please select the profile for data transfer on the mobile phone. To do this, pull down the notification bar on the mobile phone and click on the USB connection. Now select the item “File transfer”. A new data carrier should then appear on your PC (workstation).
Backup with external software: Managing a device with external software is particularly suitable if you want to manage multiple devices or simply always have an overview of your own data. Programs for this are available in the Google Play store. The use of the programs is usually described by the providers of the app.
Backup with a micro-SD card: Backing up your data (not the phone contacts) can be done via the installed File Explorer/File Manager. Here you can see all available data carriers and manage the data accordingly. For example, if you want to copy, cut or delete an item, tap and hold the file(s). Then select the corresponding option.
To backup phone contacts, there is an "Import/Export" option in the Contacts app. First, tap and hold to highlight the contacts you want to export, click the menu at the top right of the screen and select "Import/Export". Now you will be asked for a source. Here, select "Phone" and then "Next". After that, you will be asked for the destination. Select the inserted micro SD card here and confirm with "OK". A message should now appear informing you that the contacts are being exported. You can see the progress of the export in the notification bar.
Backup via email accounts (cloud): The backup here is usually done via synchronization with a previously created account. If you have not created an account, please add one first: You can add a new account of the desired type via Settings/Account. Once the account has been set up with the correct credentials, it is linked to the device. In the options of the deposited account, you can select the content to be synchronized. Now, if an account has been deposited there and the synchronization of contacts has been ticked, the contacts should be synchronized.
To back up the rest of the data on your device, most email providers offer cloud storage. An app to link the storage is often offered as well. In that case, find the app in the Playstore and set up your access with the required credentials. Once the link is in place, you can make settings for synchronization here as well.

If you have a complaint, our service centers will be happy to help. We make every effort to resolve the majority of concerns with you over the phone or by e-mail. However, an exact diagnosis and/or repair is only possible on site. Should you wish to send your device to us for inspection and, if necessary, repair, please proceed as follows: First, please fill out the repair order and include a copy of the invoice so that a warranty repair can be performed. Then pack it with your cell phone and send the package to the following address:

Incorrect and incomplete information on delivery will delay the warranty repair considerably. We therefore ask you in your own interest to observe the above points. You will automatically receive a notification about the receipt of your device as soon as the device has been registered in our system.
Repair times often fluctuate due to varying workloads. As a rule, you can expect X - X weeks waiting time from receipt of goods at Cyrus Technology. However, depending on the workload of the service team, this value can be under or exceeded.
First, wipe the display of the device with a cloth. There should be no impurities left. Then take the tempered glass film out of the packaging and loosen the protective film, indicated by the green border. Now carefully place the protection on the display of your phone, so that the cutouts of the screen protector are placed over the correct areas of the phone. The side of the screen protector must be placed on the display where the protective film was. It is best to start by positioning one edge. After you have applied the tempered glass film, wipe over it again with a cloth to remove fingerprints from the application process.

of Cyrus Technology GmbH, Hergelsbendenstraße 49, 52080 Aachen, Germany. All Cyrus products meet the highest quality standards. For this reason, we, as the manufacturer, are happy to provide you, as the end customer, with a free warranty in accordance with the following conditions:
We provide warranty by repairing free of charge the defects (at our choice: repair or exchange if necessary by a successor model), which are based on a material or manufacturing defect within the warranty period. The warranty period for your newly purchased and originally packed Cyrus product is 2 years (6 months for rechargeable batteries) and starts with the date of purchase of your product. This manufacturer's warranty does not affect any statutory warranty claims that you, as a consumer, may have against the seller under applicable law including
special protection provisions for consumers, are not affected.
The services described here are in addition to the legal warranty claims and do not limit or replace them.

Beyond that, the warranty is excluded:
- in case of wear and tear of product parts due to use or other natural wear and tear or defects in the Cyrus product due to use or other natural wear and tear,
- if the product is not used for its intended purpose or improperly or if the operating instructions are disregarded,
- if attachments, conversions or other modifications have been made to the product without authorization or if defects are due to the use of accessories, supplements or spare parts which are not original Cyrus parts,
- if maintenance and care of the products have not been carried out in accordance with the operating instructions,
- if mounting and installation have not been carried out according to the installation instructions of Cyrus Technology GmbH,
- in case of transport damage or loss.
The warranty applies to all Cyrus products purchased and used in Germany/Austria/Switzerland and placed on the market by Cyrus Technology GmbH or one of its dealers. German law applies to the exclusion of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

If you want to complain about your product, please send an e-mail with the original purchase receipt to your dealer or directly to us at service@cyrus-technology.de. We therefore recommend that you keep your proof of purchase carefully until the warranty period expires. We do not assume any liability for transport costs and risks within the scope of the return shipment.
